Northeast Tennessee Tree Service Built for This Landscape
Professional Tree Experts provides Northeast Tennessee tree service to homeowners, businesses, and property managers throughout the Appalachian foothills region. This terrain and tree mix bring real, recurring risk: mature hardwood canopies — oak, tulip poplar, hickory, and maple — are common in both older established neighborhoods and rural properties alike, and mountain weather systems can turn a routine storm into a wind event capable of snapping large limbs or toppling shallow-rooted trees with little warning. Based in Watauga, TN, our crew regularly works throughout the Tri-Cities and the surrounding communities — bringing the same licensed, insured, TRAQ-qualified evaluation and the same bucket truck, grapple truck, and chipper equipment to every job, whether it’s a single backyard oak or a multi-tree storm cleanup.
Why Homeowners Throughout the Region Trust Professional Tree Experts
- Evaluation by an ISA Certified, TRAQ-qualified arborist — not a subcontracted crew with no verifiable credential. This isn’t a self-awarded title: you can verify the certification directly through the International Society of Arboriculture’s public registry.
- Full licensing and insurance coverage, confirmed before work begins
- Professional equipment — 55-foot Altec bucket truck, grapple truck, and commercial chipper
- Complete cleanup after every job, regardless of size

Unicoi & Greene County
Why Location Matters for Tree Work
Tree risk isn’t uniform across Northeast Tennessee. Older established neighborhoods in and around Johnson City and Jonesborough tend to have larger, more mature canopy trees — oaks and tulip poplars decades into their growth that require different rigging and removal planning than younger trees in newer developments around Gray or Boones Creek. Rural and larger-lot properties toward Piney Flats, Unicoi, and Chuckey often mean more equipment access room but also longer driveways and utility line considerations our crew plans around before the first cut. Wherever your property falls in that range, our arborists evaluate the specific tree, the specific site, and the specific access — not a one-size answer.
Residential and Commercial Service
Most of our work is residential — homeowners dealing with a hazardous tree, storm damage, or routine trimming and pruning. We also work with property managers, HOAs, churches, schools, and municipal properties across the region that need a licensed, insured crew capable of larger-scale or recurring tree work.
